Micro Daylighting and Electric Lighting Design 2021
This project is to develop a lighting design scheme for a small interior site that supports library-related activities. The site consists of an entry/reception and a study area that has specific programmatic use. In addition to considering light levels for these given program areas, we had to consider opportunities for unique transitions between spaces, luminance composition, and contrast of all surfaces. The design focus is on natural lighting but also needs to develop an electric lighting conceptual approach that compliments the natural lighting interests.

Daylighting Design
This project is to develop a solar design and analysis complete process book:
1. Make a box in the dimension of 7.5”w x 15”l x 7.5”h
2. Choose any location on earth and orientation.
3. Define the daylight intention.
4. Design the aperture of the building
5. Build the model
6. Create a modification to improve the previous design based on the daylight intention
7. Make final comparisons of the two outcomes
